Disclaimer

Last updated: June 2026

This Disclaimer supplements our Terms of Use and applies to all visitors and users of matchwork.gr. By using the platform you accept that MatchWork is a technology matching service — not an employer, employment agency, or immigration provider.

1. What MatchWork is

MatchWork operates as an online marketplace/matching platform that facilitates contact between workers and businesses in Greece.

We do not hire workers, pay wages, manage employment relationships, or represent either party in negotiations or contracts.

2. Not an employment agency

MatchWork is not a recruitment agency, employment agency, recruiter, or headhunter in the legal sense.

We do not guarantee hiring, duration of employment, pay levels, or that a business will meet its promises to a worker.

3. Visas, permits & third-country workers

For nationals of countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland: MatchWork does not provide, promote, or guarantee visas (including Visa D), work permits, residence permits, asylum status, or any approval by Greek or foreign authorities.

Any mention of visas, immigration, or working in Greece in listings, profiles, blog posts, or platform help is indicative only and creates no right or promise.

Lawful employment, valid permits, and compliance with immigration rules are the sole responsibility of worker and business.

  • Do not start work in Greece without confirming your legal status with competent authorities
  • Do not treat a match score or job listing as a guarantee of visa sponsorship
  • For immigration/employment law questions, consult a lawyer or the relevant public services

4. Informational content — not legal advice

Guides, articles, SEO pages, FAQs, and automated help (chatbot) are provided “as is” for general information.

They do not replace professional legal, immigration, labour, or tax advice. Laws change — verification is your responsibility.

5. User responsibility

Each user must provide truthful information, must not mislead others, and must not use the platform for unlawful activity.

Businesses must publish accurate job requirements and hire in compliance with the law.

6. MatchWork liability limit

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchWork, its partners, and operators are not liable for damages arising from hiring, visa denials, illegal employment, false user information, or disputes between workers and businesses.

For details, see our Terms of Use (sections 7–9).
